Pete De Toro Memorial Fund

Pete De Toro was known to many as Coach or Uncle Pete or most importantly as Grandpa. You see, Pete didn’t have any children and when Josie came to him and asked if wanted to become the legal guardians for Avalon and Cole, he at first had reservations. But the from  the moment Avalon and Cole came into their lives, he knew beyond a shadow of a doubt he was going to do anything in his power to raise those kids and be present each and every day. There isn’t a soul on this planet that can say Pete didn’t do that. His greatest joy truly were raising these kids.

His joy was cut short on Monday March 16, 2020 when his heart gave out on him and he went to meet his maker. Leaving behind his love of over 25 years and his little Prince and Princess. Even in his passing-family, friends, co-workers and former athletes are wanting to band together to do anything they can to continue Pete’s quest to raise them to the best of his ability. This really does now become a village for them.

Funeral arrangements, living expenses, education and athletics will be difficult on this family of 3. We are reaching out to those who knew Pete, Josie, Avalon and Cole and ask for your help in this incredibly delicate and unfortunate time within the world as it is today and donate to their crushed little family.
