Periel Cryoablation Fund

My beloved sister, Periel, is a singer/songwriter, actress and animal rescue advocate who has always selflessly given of herself to help others but now needs some help for herself. She has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Her tumor was 5 cm at diagnosis and shrunk to 1.5 cm after neo adjuvant chemotherapy. The next step was to be a mastectomy but Periel was traumatized by the very thought. Determined to save Periel from physical and emotional devastation, her dear
friend, Deanna, researched and found an amazing doctor, Dr. Dennis Holmes, M.D. who, in addition to doing traditional breast surgeries, specializes in a minimally invasive outpatient procedure called cryoablation in which the tumor is frozen and then gradually absorbed by the body’s immune system.

Unfortunately, Periel does not qualify as a candidate for the cost free clinical trial that Dr. Holmes is conducting because she has a different hormone receptor status than those in the trial but she does qualify for the procedure outside of the trial however her insurance does not cover this procedure and she cannot afford it on her own.
