Support for Westside Community & Youth Orchestra
Please visit our website The Westside Community & Youth Orchestra was founded in October 2007 in Hillsboro Oregon. We have established ourselves as a unique group, with a mix of adult and youth players. We fill a notable gap in the community as there are no school orchestras that include strings in our area. WCYO encourages leadership and mentoring for all its musicians. Our orchestra does not charge members to participate, nor do we charge to attend our concerts. Instead, we rely solely on donations and grants to continue our existence, in turn giving the very best performances we can offer.
We are asking for financial contributions, in any amount, to support our continuing operating expenses and to fill our collection of percussion instruments. Your contributions here will go much further than our own rehearsals, and will continue straight to the excitement of our patron’s ears time and time again.
Thank you so much for helping to bring our orchestra back to the place we held prior to the pandemic.
