PepperBoots Needs Surgery

In October of 2020, this beautiful kitten just walked on our porch steps. She was extremely friendly and severely injured. Immediately, we took her in and began caring for her. We noticed that she was dragging her leg and appeared to be in pain.
We took her to several veterinarians to diagnose the injury being that she is a stray we had no idea of what happened to her other than she experienced some type of trauma. Even though we didn't plan on having a pet at this time, the entire family fell in love with PepperBoots.
Unfortunately, our son has asthma and suffered a severe attack. We realized we wouldn't be able to care for PepperBoots within our home. Desperately, searching for anyone we knew who would take PepperBoots knowing that she was injured and would need medical attention was scary. Luckily we were able to find a home for PepperBoots within our family. Our sister decided to take her and care for her.
We solved one major problem but now are faced with another challenge of paying for her medical bills. Due to the severity of her injury, PepperBoots medical bills are in excess of $5,000.00. We are hoping that anyone with a generous heart will help donate to help cover the costs for PepperBoots surgery. To date, we have invested over $2,000.00 with X-Rays, vet visits, toys, supplies, food, and the biggest cost of an MRI.
We need help to ensure that PepperBoots can have a good quality of life in a loving home. We will be so grateful to anyone that is willing to help support PepperBoots who has found her new BFF in a 10-year old girl that loves her so much.
