Pense Memorial Rink Fundraising

The Pense Memorial Rink embodies what a small town can accomplish when everyone comes together for the greater good of the community. This is exactly what happened when the town of Pense, SK made the Top 4 in the 2020 Kraft Hockeyville contest.
We unfortunately didn't win the big prize but the outreach from across Canada prompted us to create this page. Dozens and dozens of people and businesses have asked how they can make a donation to our cause, and we thought this was the easiest way for the board and the town to administer accepting those generous offers of support.
We're over halfway there. Between the money raised before Hockeyville, the money we receive as being a runner-up in Hockeyville, and Regina Motor Products and Brett Wilson's generous matching of that runner-up money, we have fundraised $181,000 of the $300,000 needed to replace our brine piping system. And with other fundraisers already planned for this winter, we know we'll get there, even without winning Hockeyville - it will just take a little more time and effort.
