Penny's mammary tumor surgery
I've had Penny since she was 3 months old. She is now 10.5 years old and she has developed a tumor on her mammary gland. It has grown rapidly and she needs to get it removed as well as 2 small ones that have been on her for 4 years. At the time, the vet said the other 2 small ones were not a big deal. Now that the large mass has formed they want to take them all off to be tested in the lab to see if it is cancerous. The surgery to get all 3 removed in $1200 and to get just the large one removed will be $750. I am a teacher, PE and Health, that coaches football and soccer. I do not have kids and she is basically my only one and this will be her 3rd surgery over $1200 (cause she likes to get injured being rowdy). This time I can't afford it and we might not receive coaching pay in the schools because COVID-19 so it will make it tough to get by. I also live in an area where I'm from 3-4 hours away from friends and family, so she is who I have to hang out and talk to when I get home. Any help would be awesome I know Penny and I would be extremely thankful. She’s my best friend and I don’t know what I’d do without her around. I’ve never done anything like this before so I’m not sure if this is how you do it, but I guess I will see?!?
