Pennies 4 PPE is a charity fundraiser organised by the Cavan youth group 'Cavan Comhairle na nÓg'.
We are asking people to
* Share 4 positive things that have happened during Lockdown
* Tag 4 people to pass it on and help spread our cause far and wide
* Donate €5 or whatever you wish
Comhairle na nÓg is a national organisation of young people from 12-18 years old. Cavan Comhairle na nÓg has members representing every post primary school in the county. At present, we have over 45 young people in our group.
We hope to raise €1,000 in total for PPE to be divided between Cavan hospital and Cavan nursing homes, and share positivity during this uncertain time.
We want to donate funds to the paediatric unit in Cavan general hospital for personal protective equipment that is child-friendly, colourful or cartoon themed.
We also want to donate half of the funds to Cavan nursing homes for additional protective equipment.
