Pennie Callaway Duzan Medical Fund
Donation protected
Pennie Callaway Duzan has devoted her life to helping others as a hospice nurse. She is now in need of your help to win her own fight against cancer. Pennie was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December of 2016. Since then, she has weathered chemotherapy, radiation, and a major surgical procedure known as Whipple. The procedure brought with it complications including sepsis and blood clots. For months, Pennie has spent most of her time in the hospital, with only a few days at home before having to return again.
On top of the suffering, Pennie and her family have been burdened by all the expenses: ambulance rides, hospital stays, an Air Evac helicopter ride, doctors, medications... Pennie's husband, Dennis, and sister, Robin, have been by her side since the start of her treatments in St. Louis. They have had to rent a hotel room and miss work to be with her. Between the medical bills and losing an income source, Pennie and her husband are struggling. Pennie and her family would greatly benefit from any donations. Together we can raise money and make a difference for this kind and loving woman.
