Penelope needs an appendectomy for a rupture
Penelope’s story; Penelope’s stomach flu turned into a whirlwind disaster. It was not the stomach flu! Penelope’s appendix ruptured, leaving her with a large abscess in her stomach. Generally they drain an abscess and remove the appendix. Unfortunately hers could not be drained and instead she spent 8 days in a trauma ward receiving IV antibiotics. She had an NG tube and PICC line.
Thanks to covid mom and dad are not working full time and lost insurance coverage. The bills for her hospital stint have started to roll in. Penelope will need an appendectomy when she finishes her antibiotics. The discounted rate for an appendectomy with abscess will be minimum 16k and upwards to 20k.
Any help to relieve this burden is greatly appreciated.
Little about Penny: Penny is 1 of 6 kids and a twin. We often joke that she is part of a matching set. However we are a okay with her twin keeping her appendix! Penny loves to draw, she’s quite the artist. She’s a sweet little soul that is full of life and love unless you are playing her in Fortnite.
Update!! Penelope is having surgery before Christmas. We only need to meet $4575 and will be free and clear from the hospital stay and surgery.
Thank you so much!
