Penelope aka Penny’s little Big Fight
My best friend since middle school was recently diagnosed with Colon Cancer. This is heartbreaking for her family and all her friends including myself, and of course to Penny herself. I believe she is still in shock, but Penelope or “Penny” as many of us call her is a fighter. She’s small but mighty. We know that. We also know she will get through this stronger than ever, but she needs our help. She was laid off due to Covid and recently spent a week in the hospital for a colonoscopy, and surgery to remove her cancerous (carcinoma) tumor. Also, to remove her appendix that ruptured due the tumor and countless other procedures. The gut wrenching part is she is uninsured due to the layoff. Her already rising bills are now being surpassed by mounting medical bills. Any donations would be used for these ever increasing medical bills that include the hospital stay and surgery, upcoming oncology appointments and any pending treatments (chemotherapy). We want our P-lope back to her fun, feisty self. With her big heart and God’s protection we know she will get there. Thank you for any support you have to offer and please don’t hesitate to share.
