Pelvic Repair for Rosie

On October 8th at 3:30 our 6 month 1/2 red 1/2 yellow lab was hit by a truck outside of our home. She was out of sight for just a few moments when the worst happened. We rushed Rosie to our nearby vet, who immediately noticed her internal damage, despite her appearances that visually she looked okay.
Rosie status right now is that surgery is his best chance at optimal health and a safe promising recovery. She has Pulmonary contusions in her lungs, which don't seem life threatening anymore, but her pelvis is shattered. In order to help her down the road with avoiding severe arthritis, and giving her the best quality of life she needs to have this surgery done to have plates and screws put in her pelvis at either Upstate Veterinary Specialties in Latham NY or Cornell Vet Hospital.
If we cant come up with the funds are next option is to bring her home and do our best to help her heal from here. The process is risky, twice as long, and harder on both Rosie and our family. Both Adam and I work full time, and are not in a position where we could cut back our hours to give her more care from home. So she would need 6-8 weeks of straight cage rest, and lots of care, we will give her everything we've got.
We are being estimated a $6-8k surgery for her pelvis, and we are already racking up vet bills now for her pain & care management. We are trying to work with the financial department from both Upstate Veterinary Specialties & Cornell to figure out our options, how much they need down before the surgery etc.
We are in the process of closing on our new home in the next few weeks, and our savings has been drained with that process. We are looking at all possible ways to get this money for Rosie.
Rosie still has so much life ahead of her, our home & hearts feel broken without her here. She is very much loved by our three children, and is a member of our family. We are desperate to give her the care she needs to be herself. If you are able to donate, share this post, or keep us in your prayers we will forever be grateful!
