First thank you for reading. My name is Krista Petersen, my partner Louis Pell and i lived in coffey park in louis’s child hood home, we lived there for the last 20 months with his now 8yr old daughter. (Her birthday was the 13th) We had been renovating the entire home and taking care of his mother that is diabetic and has MS. Luckily she went into the hospital weeks prior to this horrific event. Unfortunately we lost everything on the first night of the tubbs fire, there was no time and no one saw it coming. We are lucky to be alive. We did the best we could being able to escape with our animals and our laundry hampers, and computers. We were the lucky ones that night/morning of oct 9th. One of my best friends had started this for me while we were in a complete state of shock and deviation. Thank you, Bailey!
A lot of you have been asking if there is anything you can do to help. We know we are not the only ones going through this and we feel an over whelming amount of support and love. unfortinately, we had just tranfered the title a week prior and had NO homeowners insurance setup yet. We lost almost everything in the Coffee Park fire and need to restock on all the basics and beds, dressers, plates, silverware etc. saddly we also lost all of my professional supply’s for cosmetology, eyelash extention, hair extensions, esti equipment and massage equipment. Louis’s wide selection of carpentry tools, his mothers family heirlooms, all of her family photos and the family’s bike’s, kayak’s and more.
We know that money is already tight in this county before this tragedy had already hit, so any shares would be tremendous help to spread this farther then just our home town. Anything you can offer is greatly appreciated. 5$ 10$ 20$ all add up and at this time every dollar truly counts. Thank you for everything everyone has done for us we are eternally greatful.
