Tornado Victim Friend & Neighbors Relief Fund

Donation protected
Hello neighbors, family, friends, and loved ones! This week we experienced a devastating tornado in middle Tennessee that has decimated many of our neighborhoods and communities. I first want to thank everyone who has reached out this week to check in on me and make sure I am alright. I have never felt so much love and care in my entire life. I am one of the lucky ones who was blessed enough to not have any damage to my home. Many of my friends, coworkers, and surrounding neighbors are not able to say the same. In particular one of my coworkers (Theresa Plummer) lost everything in the storm. Her home, vehicles, and almost all of her belongings are all gone. We are so thankful she was able to protect her babies and that God protected them and shielded them in their bathroom as their entire roof and most of their second floor was ripped from above them. The trauma and devastation that so many have experienced this week is unimaginable. This weekend and in the coming weeks I will be collecting donations for my coworkers family. Jonah (5) and Alexandria (9) have experienced something no child should ever have to witness let alone go through. I am requesting donations so I can help this family even more with basic everyday essentials that they still desperately need. Some of these things are blankets, backpacks, lunchables, gatorades, coloring books, teddy bears, socks, shoes, clothing, etc. I ask that you make a donation in any amount at all, even if all you can give is a $1 it goes a long way. Any and all donations will be going directly to this family.

Once this initial goal is reached all additional donations will be going towards my efforts of purchasing other supplies that many of our shelters and cleanup centers so desperately need. Some of those things are baby formula, work gloves, garden heavy duty trash bags, safety googles, new blankets, new bras, new shoes, flashlights, new pillows, snacks, water, etc. I am working directly with these donation centers and shelters to get them the most needed essential items first. If you cannot donate monetarily I ask that you share this and send to as many people you know so we can make the biggest impact possible.

If you have the time and resources and are able to make the trip to Nashville to volunteer I will gladly help connect you so you can help us continue to pick up the pieces. Ultimately I ask that you continue to send your prayers and send strength to all the families who are picking up the pieces and to those loved ones and their families who did not survive the storm. Thank you and God Bless!
