Peggy Lynn (Emigh) Baranek

January 7, 1949 - January 25, 2023

Peggy "Poodi" Baranek, true Akron-born North Hill bred 'Sister' to Bonnie/Tom, Eddie/Marilyn, Cindy, and Diane/George, passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday morning.

Peg will be missed dearly by her husband of nearly 54 years, Mike "Pappy" Baranek; her four children: Amy/Meatball, MG, Andy, and Erin/Dante; and her eight grandchildren: Michael, Matthew, Marc, Mia, Celia, Tobey, Giana, and Dante - all of whom she lived for and cherished with her whole heart.

The fortunate many whose lives she touched will grieve the loss of Peggy's positive energy and uplifting spirit almost as much as we will continue to crave Poodi's potato salad, cream chicken, and countless other dishes made with love from her own homegrown garden vegetables.

Poodi's values endure: put family first; treat others as you want to be treated; truth need not be remembered.
