My Birthday Wish This Year Is Peace of Mind

Hi, I’m Allie. I am a mom to four lively boys who make our lives exciting!

I have worked very hard to secure a clean and safe home for my kids and myself, and with the support of my community, we’ve realized that dream. It’s been a long road full of setbacks and unexpected turns, but my determination to get my boys into a healthy home, local schools, and just keeping our heads above water has made the journey fulfilling.

I have an amazing support system of family and friends that have helped us through these last months. Yet, raising three children as a single parent is challenging. The cost to get into a home of our own left me short on resources and my recent illness means I won’t receive a full pay this month, so I’m now short on funds to pay rent and bills.

I’m doing everything I can to maintain the security I’ve established for my children, but I could use a little help. If you have a little to spare this month, please consider a donation or sharing this link with friends and family.


For my birthday, I would like to have some peace of mind. Keeping the lights on and food in my cabinet are my top priorities while I struggle to pay basic bills during the difficult month.

If we reach the goal to pay our bills and March’s rent, thank you from the bottom of my heart! If we exceed the goal, I may even be able to celebrate my birthday. I turn 36 on the 29th of February, (9 if you're counting JUST the leap year) and I would love to commemorate this journey and my newest family members with additions to the art on my skin. That’s an above and beyond dream birthday present. Peace of mind that my kids will have what they need this month comes first.


Are there more important causes than peace of mind for my birthday? Probably. But this little family is so important to me, and my heart is filled with gratitude for each and every one of you who offer your support. I cherish my friends and family more than I can express.
