Hello my name is Suad, after surviving the genocide of Srebrenica in 1995 and fleeing to The Netherlands, I started being very active in working to spread the message of what happened to us in the days leading up to the 11th of July and the days after that. I have started and lead non-profit organisations that worked hand in hand with the Dutch government as well as the Bosnian government to educate children in Dutch schools about the history of Srebrenica. In the Netherlands, I initiated and helped organize the very first peace march in remembrance of all the genocide victims of Srebrenica. Since 2012 it’s held every year on the 11th of July, a march of a symbolic 11km from Wassenaar to The Hague. Besides that I also contributed to the organisation of a bigger peace march that takes place in Bosnia itself, every year from Nezuk to Potocari. The only thing left for me to do is what I set my mind to a few years ago. A peace march from the Prison in Scheveningen, the Netherlands to Potocari, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I will not be going through this journey alone and I will have some fellow survivors accompany me.

2. Almedin Becirevic
3. Enver Music
And one person following as logistical support name Samir Sisic.
The route we will be walking is approximately 1800 km’s of which we will be passing our first km’s on the 9th of April to be making it in time to join our peace march in Bosnia and Herzegovina in Nezuk on the 8th of July. As it is a long travel that will most definitely bring obstacles along with it, we will be needing some funding and sponsoring. We hope you are willing to help us along this journey and donate some money. Any donation is appreciated and we thank you in advance!
