Monica’s Recovery

I’ve created this Page for my sister Monica Taylor, who was in a terrible car accident on September 17th, 2020. She is an amazing young 20 year old who loves the lord, works in daycare, and is a college student. Due to immense flooding a family member hydroplaned and wrecked their car on I85. As Monica was on her way trying to get over into the emergency lane to pick them up, she did not see a Ram truck beside her. The rain was very intense at the time. The truck and her car collided and she was hit on her driver side door. This sent her into the guardrail causing her to loose consciousness for a few minutes. Thankfully, her family member had a skilled fireman with them to help get Monica to safety and she became conscious again. She was pinned in the vehicle, so they had to break the steering wheel to free her leg. Her driver side seat was next to her passenger side seat, so the entire console was destroyed. Her vehicle was totaled and she was taken to the hospital where they found that she thankfully did not have any internal bleeding, but she did bite a hole through her tongue upon impact and her pelvis bone is broke in two places. She was released last night, but will have to be out of work for quite a while and in physical therapy. Due to her recently new job she did not have health insurance, so asking for any donations and/ or prayers to help her during this time. All donations will go towards medical bills, physical therapy, getting her a new car, and helping with her bills while she is out of work.
