Let's Help Donna Beat Breast Cancer!

Hi, my name is Amanda and I am fundraising for Donna Crockett, an amazing woman I had the privilege of meeting last month at Gabby Bernstein's live talk in New York City.

Donna came onto Gabby's show and shared with the audience that she had just lost her mom to cancer and at the same time was diagnosed with breast cancer. She felt like she had fallen into a black hole with no way out. She is a former NYPD cop and nurse. She went from having her picture up on the billboards of Times Square and the light posts of Manhattan in September 2021 for the 20th Anniversary of 911, working two jobs, and entering her final months of earning her doctorate degree in nursing only to being diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer.

What I later learned was that Donna needed a double mastectomy and a klebsiella infection post-op almost robbed her of her life and left her with devastating complications. Between the surgery, the loss of lymph nodes bilaterally, the lymphedema and nerve damage, Donna was not able to resume her nursing job and a few weeks ago was let go.

On top of all of this, her husband had open heart surgery in September of 2022 and her 27 year old son had a heart attack the week before she went on Gabby's show.

In a crowd of 2,000 people, I screamed "LET'S START A GO FUND ME". Donna was hesitant at first as she has always been in service to others, but I explained to her that it was a privilege to help someone as special as her.

Donna has $31,000 in student loans and a pile of medical bills to pay off for her husband, son and herself.
