Fight 4 Mike

Hello dear friends and family,


This is a fundraiser for the family of Michael (Mike) King. Unfortunately, Mike had been experiencing shortness of breath and was urgently taken to the hospital on Thursday, November 19th. Once he arrived at the hospital, he went into cardiac arrest.


Since Thursday evening, the doctors have been running multiple tests, in hopes to determine what caused the cardiac arrest. They determined that it is not related to COVID-19, but believe that a virus attacked his heart, leaving his medical team with many unanswered questions. 


We have a big family, and due to COVID our family hasn’t been able to see Mike and support him all together. Since we aren’t able to make the daily commute to the hospital, we have been renting hotel rooms in the area, but this has put a huge financial strain on our family. Jaylene (mother) has also not been able to work since Mike was taken to the hospital, and likely won’t be able to return to work during the coming weeks. 


We are reaching out to our friends, family, and the larger community to ask for support during this difficult time. We understand that the past year has been extremely difficult for many people.
