As most of you may know, on December 10th, 2014, Paul "Chules" Chuilli Jr. tragically passed away after his car hit a tree in Bridgewater, MA. Shortly after leaving school after students were dismissed for a half day, Paul was en route to a friends house in between dismissal and basketball practice. On a wet, rainy, cloudy day, Paul lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree on Aldrich Road in Bridgewater. A Bridgewater Police Officer, also his step-mother, received the 911 call via dispatch which was passed on to the Bridgewater Fire Department. Tragically, Paul's Bridgewater Fire Fighter father was extracting Paul from his vehicle with the "Jaws-of-Life" moments later. Shortly after, Paul Jr. was pronounced dead at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital despite the best efforts of BPD, BFD and Emergency Room Personnel.
A senior at West Bridgewater High School, Paul played four years of football (a Senior captain) and just began his fourth year of basketball for the Wildcats. Paul, 18 years old, left behind his immediate family consisting of his father Paul Sr., mom Susan, Oldest sister Kate, and big brothers Dylan and Evan.
Paul was known by his friends and family as the funniest, wittiest kid around. Teachers and students alike have said he lights up the room with his jokes, charisma, and crooked grin. He was a great athlete, friend, brother, and son and to say he will be sorely missed is truly an understatement.
The Chuilli family would like to begin a scholarship fund in Paul Jr's name. Additionally, the calls and messages with everyone's desire to contribute to the cause continues to grow which led to the birth of this "Go Fund Me" account. The entire Chuilli family would like to thank you for all the prayers and support, not a single call, text, or visit goes unnoticed.
