Bring Viking Football into your Livingroom!

Calling all friends and fans of Hueneme High School Football.  The Vikings are back!

Thanks to your generous donations and rebuilding efforts made possible by the Oxnard Union School District, Viking Football is officially back on the map.  With legendary Head Coach Jon Mack taking his first year at the helm, our team has new uniforms, a revamped stadium, weight room, and practice equipment, and are ready to put Ventura County prep football on notice!  

Despite these tremendous improvements, however, there is much more that needs to be done to put our young men in a position to be competitive with the elite programs in Ventura County.  What we’re talking about are much needed technology upgrades.

For many schools, on-field cameras and sideline tablets have been standard issue for years, but for our South Oxnard school, tech like this is still just out of reach.  And that’s where we need your help!

Normally we would go out into our community and lean upon our local businesses and boosters for support, but the COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to cancel all our normal fundraising plans.  We’re hoping that the friends and fans of Viking football will be able to rally the support of the online community to raise the money we need to purchase this very necessary equipment.

2020 has been a trying year for us all, and we understand that many of our supporters may not be able to make it out to our opening game against Channel Islands on January 8th.  But we want to bring the game to you! 

That’s why we’re starting a new fundraising campaign to purchase video equipment capable of streaming Viking football to fans around the globe.  This much needed technology will not only help you stay connected with HHS football, but also help Coach Mack and our team study practice and game film to prepare for our opponents. 

Our goal is to raise $15,000 by the end of November to purchase end zone and sideline cameras, as well as the equipment and software necessary to review practice footage in real-time, and stream games live online.
