Hey Ya’ll!!

It’s me, Courtney P. for Purpose, asking for the crowd’s support.
Well, in case you didn’t know, August is Black Business aka Blk Joy (As it should be celebrated) month, and I’m so excited to share this fantastic news and opportunity with you.

First Things 1st,
I need your help to reach my business STARTUP GOAL.
Here’s HOW much I need? $20,000 for (upgraded t-shirt equipment, heat transfer papers, licensing, inventory-tshirts, hoodies, jackets, packaging, operating expenses, professional book editing, online business hosting, print on demand fees, etc)

Here’s WHY I need your help?

To apply for a GoFundMe’s Black Business Grant (expiring 08/31/22), I must have a fundraising campaign for my small business.

P.D. (Purpose Driven) Promotions LLC, (promoter of inspirational products, messages, and worthy causes that empower females across the globe), which I would love to relaunch during this month of BLK JOY. It also requires me to give back to my community.

Here’s WHAT happened?
The state of GA officially locked down on my bday 04/03/2020. I was forced (like everyone else in the world) to go back inside the house after just getting out in the fields to spread the word about my new small business. Like many other single mothers, I became a teacher, cafeteria worker, tutor, and babysitter to my four daughters for 2 years which felt like 10. LOL!

#GOD Bless Educators

It was a lot to deal with! I mean a whole lot for me to manage mentally and emotionally. Not only was it hard for me (a real-life extravert) to be away from my family and friends, but it also felt like I was beginning to mourn the loss of my husband all over again. Four years had passed, but quarantine made me stop the busy mom life and finally process things and events I’ve experienced and seen over the years.

Many ideas began to bubble up inside of me (I’ve always been creative) during the COVID19 crisis. As I remembered and reflected on specific issues within the black community (domestic violence on teen girls, absent fathers, etc)that I witnessed growing up in public housing, even the pain of my girls growing up without their earthly father, to my oldest daughter being bullied in high school, to sex trafficking, etc hit me deep in the heart.

And so, P.B.G was inspired by it all. I wanted to create a symbol to put before the eyes and hearts of young black boys and men to love on, protect and provide for their daughters, sisters, nieces, and other females in their lives.

I also had time to organize my thoughts and journal to produce a book I’ve been writing for the past couple of years about navigating the stages of grief, a testament to surviving being a young widow and raising four girls.

Last year June 2021, I was sooooooo happy about the world reopening, just a little bit. I was ready to bust a move back out into the streets (MASK ON) to speak to people face-to-face to tell them about my new P.B.G merchandise. A few days later, then all hell broke loose. I was attacked by the devil and faced a few health challenges that forced me to place my dreams on hold once again.

However, I am ready to get the ball back up and rolling now that I am fully recovered. All things GOOD & BAD work together!

After watching my journey, people often compliment me on being a strong black woman. I want to continue to encourage and give back to other women and girls by sharing my testimony of survival and perseverance through my new book and P.B.G. Movement

Can I count on you to give $7, OR, $14, $21, $28, $35, $49 to my GoFundMe????? (The number 7 is my favorite because it biblically means completion, and this year also marks the 7th year of my husband’s passing.)

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CONSIDERING SUPPORTING THE P.B.G. Movement!!!!
