SUPPORTING THE FUNERAL OF TONY KABIA

Donation protected

To everyone who may not yet have heard the dreadful news,  our dear Tony Kabia passed  away on
Thursday 23 April 2020 from COVID-19 at Wythenshawe Hospital. His dear wife Sarah Margaret Naziwa was able to see him some hours before he passed but the whole family is devastated.

He was a wonderful husband, caring father, loving grandfather, loving brother and a friend to many. He will be greatly missed by those who
knew him and especially his dear wife, children and family.

Tony was a people’s person which is very evident from all the kind tributes you have spoken or written
about him, the flowers, the R.I.P banners honouring him on your houses and so many other kind gestures
which we are still in awe of from his work colleagues, neighbours and various communities that he was part of.

For those who worked with him, you will know how excited he was about the Manchester University NHS
Foundation Trust awards as he had been one of the nominees for the MFT excellence awards. He had
bought a new suit and a great pair of shoes specifically for this event which was meant to be held in
April 2020 but due to COVID-19, was postponed to possibly September 2020. It is a shame that he will
never get to live this moment which he very much looked forward to.

Funeral plans are still being arranged, and any updates regarding locations and times will be communicated soon. However we do know that you need to make sure you have your Chelsea FC football shirts on for the day wherever you will be on the day  if you can,to honour him on the day of Burial. He was a Chelsea fanatic.

We have already had numerous emails, texts and messages from people asking how to help, so this
campaign has been created as a way to keep everyone up-to-date with plans, and also offer a place for
messages and donations to be left.

If you would like to contribute towards the funeral , just click on the donate button and donate whatever you
can. Comments for Sarah and the family are also welcome.

Lets give Tony the send off he deserves!
