Help Send the Potomac Men to Henley

 Greetings everyone!

The Potomac Boat Club sweep oarsmen will be sending an eight to compete in this year's Henley Royal Regatta, in the Thames Challenge Cup.

As you can imagine, a ten-day, international trip carries a lot of costs. Securing a boat - a fast one! - and the equipment we need, dealing with registration costs, and feeding and housing eight athletes doesn't come cheap, unfortunately. We're hoping to raise $7,500 - or come as close to it as possible. How'd we get that number?

Equipment rental = $1,500

Housing = $3,500

Feeding = $400

Uniforms, racing fees, and incidental costs = $2,100
