I have been running Minimized Professional Organizers on my own since July of 2017 with the help of a few assistants. I am so proud of how far this business has come - I have loved working with people to find peace and comfort in their homes. But I'm now so terrified of where it will go.

Our work is hands-on, working in people's homes, which is no longer an option as the state has been issued a stay at home order for at least another month. While we are attempting to implement more virtual and online options for clients, this takes time... and in that time, the money coming into the business is non-existent other than donations.

The last thing I want to do is quit what I've worked so hard to build, but the reality is that we all still have bills to pay. My assistants are left looking for other part-time work while I am wishing I could help them as well. Any money raised will go towards business expenses (even when the world seems to stop, the bills continue) and also paying myself and assistants to continue working on online supports for our clients that will help to keep us in business if our stay at home order continues.
