Paying Tribute to Firefighter Jeremy Bush
On August 4, we lost an amazing man, South Bend Firefighter, Jeremy Bush. He passed away tragically in a motorcycle accident; his son Jacob was on the back of the bike.
Jacob is currently in critical condition. He sustained multiple injuries and had surgery to repair the damage. The next 48 -72 hours are crucial. Please pray for Jacob. #JacobStrong
Honestly, as I write this - there are no words. The Bush family is amazing, truly one-of-kind and my heart goes out to them. I’ve never met a closer, more hilarious, kind, and caring family- you could tell just from listening to Jen talk how much they loved each other...how much Jeremy meant to her, to the kids, to his friends and their SBFD family. This family would do anything for someone in need - and I want us to do the same for them now.
Any support you can provide will be used to help with funeral costs, medical bills, and care for Jacob, Jillian, and Jen. Please continue to pray for the Bush family.
RIP Firefighter Bush
John 16:22
“Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you."
--Because we need to be transparent (which is important for sure)...gofundme wants me to include a few additional pieces of information.
Jen will be the sole beneficiary of all funds. As I mentioned above, the money will be used to support the family. Jen will be able to use the money for funeral expenses, Jacob's medical bills, ongoing healthcare, and general care for her family.
My name is Jill Martin, I'm from South Bend and Jen has been a close friend for several years. I had the opportunity to know Jeremy through her and also through my dad. Jeremy worked for my father "Chief" on the SBFD...Chief had nothing but good things to say about him. He will be missed.
