Paying Tribute to Diana Alliprandini
On Saturday, January 9, 2021, Diana Alliprandini lost her battle with COVID-19. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend and second mom to many, Diana was also a two-time cancer survivor. Despite taking all the necessary precautions, she contracted COVID-19 in late December and was hospitalized with severe pneumonia.
The next couple weeks were an emotional and physical roller coaster. The family remained cautiously optimistic until things took a turn for the worse in her last 48 hours. Doctors explained they had exhausted all possible treatments, and if kept alive, Diana would be on a ventilator for the rest of her life. Knowing that was not what she wanted, the family honored her wishes and made the difficult decision to remove her from the ventilator, relieving her pain and allowing her to join her parents in Heaven.
In addition to the grief of losing their mother so suddenly, Diana's children Steven, Patti and Jenn are now left with the unexpected expenses of laying her to rest. Please help them with any amount you are able to give.
All donations are greatly appreciated and will go directly to Diana's funeral expenses. Any funds raised beyond that will be donated to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
