College Tuition

Greetings! My name is Jonathan Rowe. For the last eight years I have been living in South Africa with my parents and sister. Living overseas has been a blessing, my parents service in the education and non-profit sectors has made a huge difference in the lives of so many. Unfortunetly my parents do not earn as much as they could have if they had remained in the USA. As a result, paying for college is a challenge. It has been said that it takes a whole village to raise a child. I'm blessed to be a member of a village that extends across several continents. I've sent this to you as a member of my "village" asking if you will help me get to college. I will study at Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachussetts and earn a BA in English(concentrating in writing and literature). I hope to use this degree and my unique experiences to launch a career as a professional writer or journalist . Emmanuel has awarded me a partial scholarship and a number of grants but $15,000 is currently needed to fully pay for my tuition, room and board. Any donation will be really appreciated and will help me join Emmanuel College freshman class of 2014 this coming September.
