help get money to pay for my dad hospital bill where he had open heart surgery on july 31 Just called from o r. Working on valve now. Still have to do some of bypasses. Will still be a while.Closing chest now. Work on heart complete. Probably about another hour.The reason it took so long the aortic valve was smaller than normal. He put in a bovine valve and did two bypasses. He will be sedaoops!ted for 4 or 5 more hours. Be here a week or so. They will let us see him in a little while. Saw him. He's pale but seems to be resting well. He has his own nurse right beside him until they take out the breathing tube (probably later tonight). Then he'll have a nurse who will only have one other patient.They are taking good care of him.
has walked in the hall twice today -not far of course , but farther the second time than the first, hasn't asked for anything for pain in long time, Nurse asked but he said he wasn' hurting Uncle and aunt swapped out around 10:30 am. Joe said they slept some after about 3. Wynn has been coughing up a lot. Says he's not in pain and that his throat feels better, but he's only eaten a few bites since they gave him regular food. He is drinking some. He had hiccups a lot yesterday and still today. Doctors say he's still doing well and they'll probably take out other tubes sometime tomorrow. The physician in practice with Dr. Goldfaden mentioned Tuesday as release date but said they'd have to see.My dad will go to room this morning hey my dad went home from hospital today plus he will be out of work for about 3 or 4 months but my dad went back hospital last b/c monday sept 16 My dad is back in the hospital. An ulcer was bleeding and they went down his esophagus to fix it. He also has some infection. He's in CCU at least through today. He came last night and we tried to call you then but didn't get through.
I think he'll be back on the road to recovering soon It was the middle of the night. Not sure, probably between 1:30 and 3 this morning Sorry we didn't get through, but they gave him something for vomiting and an antibiotic and some blood to replace what he'd lost.
