Paul's Liver Transplant

Donation protected
For those of you who don't already know the Hinman family, let me introduce you :-) Meet Paul, Casey, Jack, Lauren, and Reese! The Hinman family is much like many other families, they enjoy spending time together whether it is a night at home or watching the kids play sports. Paul has coached several youth leagues, and loves it! Casey is always there to cheer them all on.  This family has so much love to give.

Now that we have that out of the way time to get down to why I am here.  For several years Paul has been fighting multiple complications associated with Ulcerative Colitis and yet has went to work every day, regardless of the pain, fatigue and risk of injury.  One of the most severe complications is a rare liver disease, Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC). This disease slowly but progressively destroys the liver resulting in the need of a transplant. His health is failing rapidly the only option is a transplant, this can be through living donor or organ donation. He has been taken out of work, which has resulted in financial strain for the family. Casey continues to work full time and has increased her work to attempt to stay up on the household expenses. Please keep in mind their medical expenses have been building over time for years now, as we all know the cost of medical treatments, diagnostic procedures, laboratory expenses, medications, etc.  However medical expenses are continuing to build, adding extra stress to this family.  I am requesting that we all pull together and help these amazing people regain their faith, and allow them to breathe a little easier at their time of need.  I assure you if it was one of us in need they would be there for us.

These funds will be used to meet household needs in order to allow them to spend this time together. The funds will also be used for medical expenses both past and present.

Paul's health will continue to deteriorate until he receives a viable organ. I have seen my dear sweet friend emotionally upset several times and the fear in her face when her phone goes off at work, is almost too much to witness. I really would like to see her home with husband during this time, and I believe that WE can make this happen.

I would like to add if you aren't an organ donor please think about all the good that you could do by making that choice!
