Paul Patterson needs your help

My husband, Paul has always been a hard working dedicated man. He usually put others needs before his and has helped so many. He is a contractor and has been for over 41 years. Earlier this year he was having pain is his legs and trouble walking. He hasn’t been able to work for months. He has been seeing doctors for months to determine what was going on. After running numerous tests they discovered he has Diabetes which has led to neuropathy. They also discovered an ulcer and he now has to have prostate surgery in Nov. Two weeks ago he was trying to get out of bed and fell and was too weak to get up. I was unable to help him and had to call an ambulance. His vitals weren’t good and was taken to the hospital where they found his blood sugar was over 511. He was in the hospital for almost two weeks. He came home Sunday, September 27th but now has a long road to recovery and also has to go to rehab as he can barely walk. He is still having difficulty with the diabetes and will be out of work almost a year. He cannot continue to support us and recover without some income to live and pay medical bills. He is trying to improve his lifestyle, get the diabetes under control and get stronger so he can have his prostate surgery. Diabetes is deadly and he is a good man and is trying to pay attention to his health at this time. The real goal is to have Paul back – that sweet, funny, spirited bright light in this family. The current and upcoming expenses are a huge unknown financial and emotional distress. In the year of Covid, you never know what tomorrow brings. We need help with everything including utilities, medical bills, and mortgage to continue on. Words cannot express the gratitude and deepest thanks we have for your generosity so anything will be a blessing. We will update his progress here.
