Paul Park Memorial Fund

Paul E. Park was born to be a musician. He played music professionally from the age of 19 in various cities and venues. He met Jeri Lynn Nichols at an open mic in Fort Collins in 1986, and the rest is history. They formed the duo, Whitebird and played in Colorado for the next three years. They decided to take their talents to California to further pursue their dream, playing their original music in the music venues of Los Angeles.  A few years later Paul and Jeri married, relocated to Orange County and formed a band called Harmony Road. The very popular classic rock band played up and down the coast for the next 9 years. Paul experienced his first heart-related health incident in 1997. They moved back to Colorado in 2000 and Paul's health continued to deteriorate. Over the next 17 years he suffered several heart attacks, vascular and pulmonary  events. In February of 2015 he lost his right leg due to his weak heart and lack of circulation. He never truly recovered and had several more surgeries and serious hospitlalizations in the next two and a half years. Finally, the struggle became too much and Paul succumbed on Saturday, July 22. He leaves behind three children.....Heather Booth, Eli Neri, and Taylor Park, and his wife of 26 years, Jeri Lynn. Paul and Jeri were musicians, depending on their "gigs" and performances to support them. Unfortunatey the gigs became few and far between, especially in the past few years.  Although he was a Veteran in the 70's, he did not qualify for any benefits...he did not have any insurance or savings, and his family is left with the final expenses as well as many bills....past and future. Please consider helping his family finalize this sad episode in their lives.
