Paul Leckie RIP

Donation protected
On Friday the 12th of February, Paul Leckie passed away from complications caused by CoVid 19.  Paul was a father to  Patrick aged 12, husband to Elaine, and a HSE frontline worker (a portering supervisor) at St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin.

Paul worked hard, was always kind, always thoughtful and always going far and above what was expected to make the difficult times spent in hospital by patients more bearable.  Always ready with a joke and a smile, It's hard to put into words just how well loved Paul was within his work place, community, and family.

A proud Glaswegian who had settled in Dublin as a young man, Paul enjoyed introducing Patrick to his love of all things Celtic.  Incredibly proud of his Irish heritage Paul loved to engage Patrick with the history involved.

After contracting CoVid Paul fought an extremely tough battle which, ultimately, he couldn’t win.

We’re making this page so that anyone who wants to can help Elaine and Patrick to move forward in a life without Paul.  This was a totally unexpected and unprepared for death and we want to show Elaine and Patrick our support and thanks for a man who spent so very much of his time helping others.

If you have a moment, please leave a message of support for Elaine and Patrick, or do feel free to share a memory you may have with Paul that would mean a lot to them.

Thank you.
