Patty's Stroke Recovery

Our dear friend Patty Rice had a stroke last week — thankfully no paralysis.  However, she has some speech and vision impairment.  At this time she is receiving physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy three times a week.  The doctor's are saying she will be off work from two to six months, depending on how quickly she recovers.   Her short term disability will only pay 60% of her salary.  She is a single parent, the head of the household responsible for her son, and daughter and her sweet two year old grand child.
