Patti has battled a particularly rare and aggressive form of cancer (HERR2 Negative Inflammatory, Aggressive, Invasive Breast Cancer) with what can only be described as an optimistic tenacity. Patti’s strength and courage in the face of fear, pain and uncertainty has truly been a gift of inspiration for many, including her Gibson family who see her fight day in and day out. She has endured THREE YEARS of chemo, surgeries, radiation, drug side effects and endless poking and prodding and through it all has been the role model of positivity.
After a 6 month period of relative stability her tumors have again started to grow and multiply. Patti recently began a new very aggressive experimental treatment (several types of chemo at once) for her rare form of cancer which is now listed as STAGE 4. She is on a daily cocktail of chemo pills supplemented by an infusion of another type of chemo every 21 days.
Patti is in the battle of her life and she needs our support.
This Fund will be used to cover Patti's medical expenses, copays, prescriptions, living expenses and anything else that will ease the financial burden so that Patti can focus on the fight.
