As the host of Michigan Golf Live TV, I have had the honor of watching the growth of the Folds of Honor Foundation from its infancy to today's status as an organization of global impact.
Today, Folds of Honor (and its key event, Patriot Golf Day) deliver tens of millions of dollars in scholarships to the children left behind when an American hero gives the ultimate sacrifice.
This great cause hit home for me in a powerful way after meeting one of my neighbors in the Saginaw, MI area. Her husband was KIA, leaving behind 6 children in the K-12th age range. It took a bit of convincing for this hurting but proud widow to seek assistance from FoH, but when she did, they responded with full scholarships for the entire family!
Why am I asking for you help today? Because this September I will be playing/competing in the annual Treetops Patriot Shootout golf tournament to raise funds for Folds of Honor. I would like to donate at least $10,000 to this wonderful cause and I need your help to do it.
A few important notes for you to consider:
- 100% of your donation goes directly to the Treetops Patriot Foundation. You are NOT giving this money to me. You will be fully receipted for your gift via the Treetops Foundation, tax ID number for your tax purposes is 26-3042017.
- I would like to incentivize your donations by offering the following "prizes":
DONATION OF $50-100: 1 dozen MGL Logo Balls
DONATION OF $101-250: 1 dozen MGL Logo Balls + Patriot Golf Day TShirt
DONATION OF $500-750: Above items + 2-some at Treetops + Name in credits of MGL TV show
