We are a 100% volunteer group of New Jerseyans working to educate the public about Early Voting with paper ballots in our state. We are targeting 5 GOP congressional districts to get out the vote so that we can flip it BLUE, doing our part to take back the House in order to fight the Trump administration.
We have volunteers in every county helping. We have volunteers from CA, NY, CT, FL, MD, OK, PA, and MA helping. We have American Expats in France, Shanghai, and Zurich helping us!
Here's an American Expat with family in the same county in NJ helping to get out the vote.
So what's the money for? STAMPS and ENVELOPES.
Our volunteers pay for their own printing of forms, write notes to registered voters, and assemble. *But the thing that is prohibiting us is the cost of stamps and envelopes.* Ideally, we have money to print the forms, too, but we can make do for now. For us to really get out the vote, we need to supply stamps and envelopes.
The $5000 goal will cover stamps for 10,000 registered Democratic voters. This is only a small percentage of our overall goal of reaching 521,000 voters, but it will really help us. In congressional district 3, where we are trying to flip Rep Tom MacArthur, there are 91,472 registered Dems who voted only once in the last 4 General Elections. Getting them to turn out is key for us to win this district. The $5000 goal is only for stamps. We have volunteers locally who will knock on doors as well.
For every dollar that you give, you are sponsoring a volunteer to write a personal plea for 2 Democratic voters to vote by mail. You are helping us to educate 2 Democratic voters about early voting in NJ using paper ballots (which are unhackable). Once voters get their paper ballots in their mailbox, they will develop a new voting habit EVERY November election. Over time, we should see an increase in the voting rate.
