Patrick Wells Funeral and Memorial Services

On May 7, 2021 Patrick took his 3-year-old son Beckett out Kayaking on Lake Champlain in Willsboro, NY as he had done so many times before, but today ended very differently; the Kayak flipped over and both Patrick and Beckett found themselves in the lake.  Patrick did what any devoted father would do, he put Beckett’s life before his own and as of now Beckett is fighting for his life in Vermont and Patrick at the young age of 28 has passed away.  For those that have known Patrick over his short life, know that he started in Germany to his father Thomas Wells Jr. from the USA and his German national mother Jutta. They raised him there until he was 14, at which point he had already developed a love of golf and soccer and they moved to Willsboro NY.  As a teenager he continued to develop his love of golf and soccer but he added basketball, weightlifting,  and his love of cars, specifically fast cars.   When he became an adult, he developed an interest in food and worked in the food industry.  Once Beckett was born everything in Patrick’s world changed, and Beckett became the center of that world.  He brought Beckett on walks, swimming at the campground and at the Lake, he shared his love of golf with Beckett by bringing Beckett to the golf course with him regularly,  He brought Beckett to the zoo, to the Fire Station to see the Fire Trucks,  of course living in Willsboro NY we all know that Patrick took Beckett on MANY sledding trips, and to Great Escape.  Even though Patrick only had a little over 3 years to share with his son, he made every one of those days count, whether it was making breakfast or taking him any of the many places he had to go, Beckett was Patrick’s whole world.  Today we are asking for your help in paying for Patrick’s final resting expenses.
