Helping the Halvorsens

On November 15th 2018, Meg and Michael Halvorsen heard words no parent ever wants to hear.  Their youngest son Patrick, 15 at the time, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma multi form, brain cancer.  In February of 2020, Patrick suffered his first relapse, as the cancer moved from his brain to his spine.  Doctors then tried various forms of treatment to keep his cancer at bay.  Sadly, in November of 2020, the cancer returned in his spine and brain.  Patrick has been given a few months to live.  As you can imagine, this is the most heartbreaking news any family could hear.  Patrick is beginning to loose his memory and is now requiring 24 hr care.  This has forced Meg to quit her job to take care of him.  The Halvorsen's have never asked for any financial help during these past few years.  The funds raised will allow Meg to stay home and care for her son.  If he is up to it, they would love to take him on a small trip locally as his Make A Wish trip was cancelled due to Covid.  Please help them out during this unimaginable time.
