Patiko's road to recovery

Patty is an amazing person. Full of love, positivity and compassion. So, why her? We will never know but we do know that no matter what, we will all be here to support her and fight along with her. On August 28 our cousin "Patiko" complained of arm pain. Within 45 minutes of the first symptom she had lost all muscle function and mobility from her neck down and was being intubated. 24 hours later and still no answer, no diagnosis. As of today there is no definite diagnosis as this is a rare case. What we do know is that a hematoma ruptured and filled her spinal cord with blood. With the grace of God, Patty went through surgery to drain the blood and is slowly recovering but the road to full recovery will be a long, hard one. Patty will soon be transferred to a new facility where specialists will work to help her breathe on her own again and start extensive physical therapy to help her regain movement in her arms and legs. With that said, we have created this GoFundMe account to raise funds for her parents as this has taken a toll on them not only emotionally but also financially.
