We formed The Foundation PATIENTS LIVES MATTER on the 5th September 2023 following the sad loss of our son Balram on 9th August 2023.
Balram died in a huge amount of pain and discomfort and before his time due to a cascade of errors and failures in treatment and care from the hospital consultant and a number of staff.
We feel very strongly that the Government is taking steps “after the event” so as to speak to see what went wrong with patient care and / or patient treatment. However totally inadequate steps are available at the time of the incident to rectify the failure and ensure little or no harm comes to the patient.
Whether you are the patient, a parent, a family member, a friend or none of the above, we are here for you.

We want to lobby Parliament and get them to listen and effect a change.
We want an independent body created to investigate complaints against NHS staff and bodies so we have started a petition in parliament to initiate change and also through Change.Org. Please click on the 2 Links below and register your vote on both petitions and let your voice be heard. We can only do this collectively.
Together we can make the difference that is so desperately needed.
