UPDATE!!!

Dear friends, I finally know my fate! After meeting with Oncologist this week, I now know that chemo is suggested. I really don't want to do that, but it seems the type of cancer I have tends to come back in different locations of body. I also have radiation to look forward to. I have found an apartment in Jacksonville, but it won't be available until mid October. Not looking forward to moving but you do what you must. I am going to really need financial help to pull this off since I have to hire everything done for move. Thank you to all my friends who have helped and to all that do so in the future. I love all of you.

URGENT!!! Please HELP ASAP!
My friend Shelia, was diagnosed with SQUAMUS CELL INVASIVE CARCINOMA of the breast. Since that time several other spots have been located. It is determined to be metaplastic and triple negative. Only 0.1% of the population is diagnosed with this type of cancer.
She is living in Tallahassee, Florida where she was initially diagnosed. However, as we learned the rarity of this type of breast cancer, we determined she would be in better hands with the MAYO clinic in Jacksonville, Fl.
It has been a long journey already as she and her cousin have been driving back and forth from Tallassee to Jacksonville for weeks now and it is taking a toll on them, their finances and their vehicles. They also have to board their pets.
The nature of this cancer deems it likely to reoccur in various parts of the body. There is a study being put together at the MAYO Clinic to work on a vaccine to prevent this reoccurrence.
Therefore, they are wanting to move to Jacksonville, Fl. for all of her treatments and participation in the study.
