Pat Williams Recovery Fund

Pat Williams is currently hospitalized at Montefiore University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. His liver and kidneys are slowly shutting down and he's also battling the flu. His doctors have informed him and his family that he is in desperate need of a liver transplant but in order to be put on the transplant list, he needs to recover from the flu. Once he is fever free for two days in a row, they will attempt to put him on the liver transplant list and then it will be up to the insurance company as too whether they'll accept the request.This is a lengthy process and the doctors have requested that someone is with Pat as much as possible. Pat's family has been traveling back and forth to Pittsburgh and taking 2-day shifts to be with him but this requires taking unpaid leave from work and considerable travel costs.

The recovery time after Pat receives the transplant is at least 6 weeks where he will be required to stay in Pittsburgh and the family will be required to stay with him.
