Pat Kielion Memorial Fund

On Thursday September 24, 2020, Patricia (Pat) Kielion took her last breath. As some of you may know, Pat battled lung and esophageal cancer for more than a year. The funds raised will be used to help pay for the medical and funeral expenses.



Pat was the matriarch of her family. For those who were close to Pat – you knew her as a selfless woman, giving much of herself to her sons, family, friends, and her community. Pat was feisty and spirited. Her love for her children was unmatched and one we all hope to emulate in our own home. You could count on seeing her and Roger for Friday Night Lights, or Husker games at the Eagles on Saturdays. Pat had a way of making you feel welcome and loved. After Shane passed - Pat focused on her family and her grandchildren, while also keeping Shane’s legacy alive. Every year on November 15th, their extended family showed up for sloppy joes, great stories, and lots of laughter and tears. Her children and grandchildren being her pride and joy, she shared pictures and stories during the time you spent with her. While this new chapter will not be an easy one for Roger and the family, we are comforted in knowing that she will be greeted on the other side by her son, Shane. There they will watch over their family, friends, Notre Dame and the Huskers – together.  As the family mourns the loss of a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and so much more; we hope to help by alleviating some of the financial burden.



There will also be a Spaghetti Feed at the South Omaha Eagles on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 12-4pm. Adults $10, children 12 and under $5. There will be music as well as raffles and silent auction items. Address is 6607 Sunshine Drive, Omaha, NE.
