"If They Didn’t Have Bad Luck They’d Have No Luck At All..."
My Family, a daughter of 12 and my wife – are currently looking for assistance to help us get through these times after Harvey, here is our story:
We bought our 1st House copule of days before Harvey hit.
We lost both of our vehicles.
The Title to the property still has not propagated through all the systems that FEMA, and other Resources use to confirm Homeownership. This means the we have been declined on all requests trying to get any quick aid to help us with minimal expenses, and provides another headache we have to work through to prove we are the owners.
We didn’t have flood insurance due to not being in a flood zone.
(this is my living room)
We are asking for funds for the following:
1. I need to put back sheetrock back to seal the house to stop bugs and other creatures coming in
2. I need fix my kitchen so I can move in house ASAP. Planning to just make something to hold sink and stove so we can cook.
3. Need some small fridge for beginning to keep our food safe
(my kitchen)
In meanwhile I’m fighting with mold ,my daughter had a nose surgery a month ago so I need to make house livable enough
(my dream house enterance)
