Pastor Kendall Pierres Fight Against COVID 19

Rev. Kendall Pierre Sr. is a native of Ama, Louisiana, and the Pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He is the husband of First Lady Sabrina Pierre and the father of Tayler, Kendall Jr., and Kaden Pierre. He is the also the son of Ilean Pierre-Medley and the grandson of Irving Pierre Sr. In addition to being a beloved son, husband, father, and friend, Kendall is a barber, mentor, and coach. He is not only a pillar in our community, but he is a servant at heart who is known for his genuine spirit, selflessness, and angelic voice.
On March 26, 2020, his wife Sabrina drove Kendall to Ochsner Main Campus, not knowing he would be in the hospital for over a month. Kendall was diagnosed with COVID-19, admitted into the ICU, and later placed on a ventilator. As of today, he is progressing daily and still fighting to get better as his doctors are working tirelessly to wean him off his ventilator.
Family and friends have created this page with the hopes of supporting Kendall family during this difficult time. All funds raised will go to Sabrina Pierre for his medical recovery and healing.
Just as Kendall has been faithful and available to us in our times of need, the torch has been placed in our hands to do the same.
