Pastor John needs his motorbike to spread help

Trauma Tapping Pastor John Obonyo is the kind of person who never stops helping his refugee community. We have taught John techniques for self-regulation of trauma and stress and he has started changing the lives of people with these war-ridden memories. 

A major challenge is transportation. His motorbike has broken down. 

Imagine running. First you run from war and violence, then you run to be of help to your community. Everyday challenges can be as simple as water or food. The war in South Sudan is one of the three largest wars in modern times, and the Bidi Bidi refugee camp that holds over 800.000 people is one of the three largest camps in the world.

With Trauma Tapping John changes lives in unbelievable ways.

"She is called Lonah Yobu aged 47years a resident of Pasu Settlement.  All her bones were paining and coming to the church was a problem. She had a persistent and severe headache. Her ribs were paining, the backbone also, and also the waist. Almost whatever was available in the camp for food she was not supposed to eat because of these sicknesses. She had a really miserable life. 

I clearly knew that it was trauma torturing her and causing all these complications. As we met for prayer and fasting on Wednesday a regular practice, I took her and the whole team through TTT and Havening. On Sunday during service time this lady came out very excited with a testimony.  She said for the first time after years her heart was free from pain and so peaceful. She had eaten beans and done her no harm. No any more pain was in any part of her body. She eats whatever she desires.

Today she can walk for Kilometers. One of the first fruits of Trauma Tapping in our area. I am very  proud of her."

"I am planning for en emotional health workshop on 28/5/2019 in the neighbouring village and I expect a good turn up. It closes the following day after Sunday service. Any support towards our welfare is highly appreciated.
A great challenge is transport. I have a motorcycle which I came over with from South Sudan but registering it to get a road licence and the number plate requires 900000 Shillings. So I request you to pray with me for God's intervention because this is too big money for where there is no job. The camps are scattered and distant from one another. My movements are limited, but the motorcycle could be a very good solution to this.

Help us help John. With 400 USD he can fix the motorbike. With 1200 more he can arrange this training every three months the rest of this year, and train over 50 pastors and up to 180 people every time. 

After a training every person is capable of helping others. This is an incredible peer-to-peer transformation for mental and emotional health. Help John help.
