Don’t believe me, look around those coffee spaces. See people conversing with that warm or iced liquid beverage in the hand? Millions of people every day consume coffee which is why I gained love and interest in it at just the age of 10!
Kinship Cafe won’t be your typical coffee shop! Nope! The vision behind the cafe is simple!

2. We are serving Black Drip (KC’s Black-Owned coffee label) 10% of the proceeds monthly will go to non-profit PorterHouse KC*
3. Kinship Cafe will be open from 4-7pm for “Equitable Programming” *
4. Kinship Cafe will be for EVERYONE!
My goal is simple, to help give us some financial freedom to BREATHE. These funds will help us with rent and utilities but also will create peace of mind for the “Equitable Programming”. We want to provide a place that helps equip people to grow and become the future leaders of our world! From after school programming, to motivational speakers, literacy solvency programming, business seminars, job fairs, networking events, mock interviews, resume builders, live events, board meetings, etc.
The space will be open from 6:30-3pm. Then after close, from 4-7pm the space will be allowed to be used for the events!
Here’s how you can help!
1. We want your support more than anything so following us on Facebook and Instagram, that will be the EASIEST way to do that! Don’t forget to follow Black Drip too!
2. You can financially support us with ANYTHING you are willing to commit towards. We understand the goal is steep but we feel that the IMPACT that we can leave will be a milestone we want to be able to say, “it took a herd”.
