Partially Sighted Musician calls for Uni support

My name is Vinicius Motta and I have Stargardt disease (a macular degeneration  in the retina). My family made an extremely important decision to relocate from Brazil to the UK to support my educational needs as in Brazil there is very little support for people with a visual impairment and that demands any sort of accessibility.  My original plans that I had in Brazil changed completely as I discovered a passion in music once I started living in the UK.

My visual impairment has not stopped me on achieving great results. When I arrived in the UK, my music knowledge was minimal ( I just knew how to play some songs on the electric and acoustic guitar); since then, I have achieved grade 8 ABRSM Music Theory and also learnt how to play piano (up to grade 8 Repertoire).
During the last Autumn,  I attended  interviews for 3 different Conservatoires and I am glad to say that the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire offered me a guaranteed place for the 4 year Music Composition Undergraduate course starting in September 2020.
As I have only been living and studying in the UK for a bit more than 3 years, I am not a British or an European citizen and therefore I was considered  an International  student. In other words, the tuition fees are more than two times the Local student's fees.

My family is doing everything they can to afford the local fees (£9,250) and the tuition fees are (£20,300). I am here to ask your help to raise funds for my 1st year’s tuition fees. Since I am not a British or an European citizen, I do not have access to any benefits; in other words, I cannot apply for  the UK Student Finances service.

I recently was involved in a project with Priestley Smith School and the Orchestra of the Swan, where I have composed and arranged pieces to be performed by the Orchestra’s musicians and Priestley Smith pupils. Here are the results of this project:
