Parker Emerson Ashford Memorial Fund
Donation protected
The Irving community is heartbroken over the recent, unexpected, passing of one of its beloved second grade students. In his short time on Earth, Parker touched the lives of students, staff, and parents alike. He was caring, smart, athletic, and empathetic. Many community members have asked what they can do to help during this incredibly heartbreaking time; this fundraiser is in response to that much appreciated outpouring of love. The funds will be used for funeral, and other, expenses related to Parker's passing.
His parents shared the following message: "It is with extremely heavy heart that I announce the passing of our beloved son, Parker Emerson Ashford. He passed away in the early hours Thursday morning. He was the light of our lives and we hope that his spirit and memory will live on in all the people that he touched. Parker was the most compassionate and caring person I have ever known. The world is at a loss with his passing. At this time the cause is unknown, but he was experiencing flu-like symptoms. **I want all of you with little ones to hold them close, tell them how much they mean to you, and don't put off anything. Live every moment to the fullest. We want to express how touched we are from the outpouring of support from the community as a whole, and all the people who knew Parker.
THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH."
